Cooper-Dixon-Stewart Award
Congratulations to Natalie Taylor – winner of the 2009 award.
The Cooper-Dixon-Steward Award is an annual award for recognition of an those who have demonstrated the following qualities within the association.
- Sportsmanship – person who behaves fairly and generously
- Integrity – honesty; wholeness; soundness.
- Leadership – person who leads; person followed by others.
- Voluntariness – person who undertakes unpaid tasks of free will.
- Benevolence – person who wishes to do good; actively friendly and helpful; charitable.
Any nominations will be accepted from Association Members only and must be submitted in writing and must address at least 3 of the above criteria during the current playing season.
The nominee need not be an Association member but must be involved in the Association to be eligible. In the event nominations are received for more than one person the Executive will adjudicate and determine the recipient of the award. The decision of the Executive shall be final.
Should any member of the Executive be nominated they will stand down from the adjudicative process and an alternative Association Member be seconded.
